Dubai 22K gold is AED 435.75 per gram on 2 November 2026 as gold recovers from a one-year low. What wholesale jewellery buyers should know.
Dubai, Monday 2 November 2026. Gold opened the week higher after its weakest month in a year.
Spot gold traded near $3,900 an ounce on Monday morning, up about 1%. On Friday it touched a 12-month low after a tech-stock selloff forced investors to sell metals to cover margin calls. Gold lost about 6% in October. Dubai rates today: 24K AED 470.50, 22K AED 435.75, 21K AED 417.75 and 18K AED 358.25 per gram, all about 0.75% above Sunday.
For wholesale buyers, this is the first cheaper restocking window in months. Retailers who held back in October can now rebuild 22K and 21K stock ahead of the wedding and year-end season.
Example: 1 kg of 22K at today’s rate is AED 435,750 in metal value, before making charges. The same kilo in 21K is AED 417,750.
Advice for partners: split large orders into two or three tranches this week instead of one bulk purchase. Fix the metal price on confirmation and agree making charges separately.
The honest caution: The US jobs report is due Friday 6 November, and markets see a strong chance of a US rate hike in December. Either could push gold lower again. Nobody can promise October’s low was the bottom.
