Today is Monday, 26 October 2026, and Dubai gold rates are steady: 24K at AED 481.50, 22K at AED 446.00, 21K at AED 427.50 and 18K at AED 366.50 per gram. Spot gold is trading around $4,000 an ounce after falling 4.1% last week.

The key news is the US Federal Reserve. Its decision is due on Wednesday at 10 pm UAE time. A hold is expected, but markets see a strong chance of a December hike, and that has pushed gold lower.

For wholesale buyers, this is a lower-priced restocking window compared with a week ago. Since 22 October, 24K has fallen from AED 493.75 to AED 481.50 per gram, a drop of about 2.5%.

Example: The metal value of 1 kg of 22K finished jewellery at today’s rate is AED 446,000. Last Thursday’s equivalent 24K-based price was about AED 12,250 per kilo higher (24K comparison, before making charges).

Advice for partners: Split large orders into two parts, before and after Wednesday’s Fed decision. This averages your cost if prices move sharply either way.

The honest caution: Gold can fall further if the Fed signals more hikes, or jump if the Gulf conflict worsens. No one can promise the bottom is in.
